2025 Toyota RAV4

The 2025 RAV4 is available in four trims: the LE, XLE, XLE Premium, and Limited. The LE comes with 17-inch steel wheels, LED projector headlights, integrated LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, and body-colored door handles. Enhancements on the XLE include 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals, and dual-chrome exhaust tips. The XLE Premium features 19-inch alloy wheels, LED fog lights, a power moonroof, and a power lift gate. At the top of the range, the Limited offers 19-inch chrome-finished alloy wheels, unique patterned gray grille inserts with active grille shutters, chrome exterior accents, daytime running light accent lighting, exterior puddle lights, and a hands-free power liftgate with smart key fob detection.

Every RAV4 model is equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 203 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and 184 pound-feet of torque at 5,000 rpm. The engine pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission that provides smooth gear changes and responsive acceleration. Front-wheel drive comes standard, while an available all-wheel-drive system offers increased traction and confidence in varying weather conditions.

The RAV4 accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 8.3 seconds and has a top speed of 119 mph. Its 1,500-pound maximum towing capacity accommodates light hauling needs, while three distinct drive modes — SPORT, ECO, and NORMAL — allow drivers to tailor the vehicle's response to their preferences. SPORT mode sharpens throttle response for more engaging performance, ECO optimizes efficiency, and NORMAL provides an ideal balance for everyday driving. With up to 8.6 inches of ground clearance, the RAV4 confidently handles varied terrain.

All RAV4 variants have an 8-inch touchscreen, and a larger 10.5-inch display is available on the Limited. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility come standard across the lineup. Higher trims offer SofTex-trimmed seats, an 11-speaker JBL Premium Audio sound system, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Over-the-air updates keep the RAV4's systems current. The interior dimensions provide plenty of space for passengers and cargo, with 37.8 inches of rear legroom and 39.5 inches of rear headroom. Folding the rear seats reveals up to 69.8 cubic feet of cargo space.

Toyota's comprehensive safety suite, Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, comes standard on every RAV4. The Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection helps identify potential hazards ahead, while Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist keeps the vehicle centered in its lane. Dynamic Radar Cruise Control maintains a set distance from vehicles ahead. Additional features such as Lane Tracing Assist and road sign assist provide extra layers of safety awareness. Automatic high beams adjust to changing light conditions, and select models include blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert for increased confidence during lane changes and parking maneuvers.
