The system is paired with a 10-speed Electronically Controlled automatic Transmission with intelligence (ECT-i), sequential shift mode, and uphill/downhill shift logic. A Smart Key System with Push Button Start and part-time 4-wheel drive are standard with three drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport.

An Integrated Trailer Brake Controller with Multi-Information Display and Trailer-Sway Control are standard for this trim, and its maximum towing capacity is 9,120 pounds. A trial subscription for Remote Connect is included, allowing you to interact with your Sequoia remotely using the Toyota app and a smartwatch. It has a variety of functions, such as starting and stopping your vehicle, depending on which grade you have. You also get trial subscriptions to Service Connect and Drive Connect, including Cloud Navigation.

Technology

An 8-speaker audio system with a 3-month trial subscription for SiriusXM is standard in the 2024 Sequoia’s lowest SR5 trim. The infotainment system features an 8-inch touchscreen, plus wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. A trial subscription to Wi-Fi Connect with a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot is also included.
