The 2025 Toyota bZ4X, now in its fourth generation, introduces an array of groundbreaking features and innovations. These advancements position it as a leading contender in the electric vehicle market. Discover how this latest model sets new standards for performance and sustainability.
Engine Specs
Each model in the lineup includes an AC synchronous electric motor, granting the base model 201 horsepower and 196 lb-ft of torque. In the Nightshade and Limited trims, these numbers increase to 214 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque. True to Toyota’s “Beyond Zero” initiative, the bZ4X lives up to its name as a zero-emission vehicle. The base model includes Snow, Eco, and Normal driving modes, as well as a boosted regenerative braking driving mode.
The Nightshade and Limited trims come standard with X-MODE, which includes Snow/Dirt, Grip Control, and Deep Snow/Mud modes. X-MODE not only provides driving modes that help your Toyota navigate the toughest conditions, but also enhances all-wheel drive by adjusting throttle and braking power to each wheel. Every 2025 bZ4X comes equipped with an independent MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension, each featuring its own stabilizer bar.
The bZ4X’s Premium Exterior Design
The newest bZ4X’s exterior gives it a sporty appearance, featuring a hammerhead-style hood with painted black accents and black over fenders with front air curtains. With a ducktail rear spoiler and a rear lower diffuser, the base-model XLE boasts superior performance, stability, and aerodynamics.
The Toyota bZ4X’s outside lighting system includes bi-LED projector-style headlights with low beams, automatic on/off functions, and Auto High Beams. The taillights and stop lights are LED to match the headlights, and daytime running lights come standard on all models in the lineup. The power-folding side-view mirrors are heated, feature puddle lights, and boast integrated indicators for the turn signals and blind-spot warning system.
Interior Technology
Audio and Infotainment
The lineup’s standard onboard infotainment system features a 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia screen connected to six speakers. This screen includes SiriusXM radio and smartphone integration via Apple or Android. The Limited trim offers an optional upgrade to a nine-speaker JBL sound system with an amplifier and a subwoofer.
