With its bold style and powerful hybrid powertrain choices, the 2025 Toyota Crown is a new take on the luxury sedan. Whether you’re heading to the office or at a weekend event, the Crown gets you there in comfort, safety, and style.
No matter what’s happening outside, the Crown keeps you comfortable inside its cabin with leather-trimmed seats, heated and ventilated front seats, and heated rear seats. A standard dual-zone automatic climate control system lets the driver and front passenger choose the temperature settings that are just right for them. You can even customize the information you want to see in the Crown’s vibrant 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.
Powertrain Choices
The Crown is available in four unique grades with two hybrid engines that are both powerful and efficient. Under the hood of the XLE, Limited, and Nightshade grades, you’ll find a 2.5-liter Dynamic Force 4-cylinder hybrid system, which produces 236 net horsepower and EPA-estimated 41 MPG combined efficiency. Every Crown also comes standard with all-wheel drive to help you maintain control when the roads get slippery.
If you’re looking for even more power, the Platinum grade delivers with 340 net horsepower from its Hybrid MAX 2.4-liter turbocharged hybrid system, which averages 30 MPG combined. This model also comes with performance upgrades like Adaptive Variable Suspension and Dynamic Rear Steering for a smoother ride and enhanced stability.
New for 2025: Nightshade
The Crown’s edgy look gets dark styling enhancements this year with the all-new Nightshade grade. Available in your choice of Storm Cloud or Black exterior colors, the Nightshade features 21-inch matte-black wheels, black exterior accents, and dark badging. It also shares premium tech and comfort features with the Limited grade, including an 11-speaker JBL Premium Audio system and a panoramic fixed-glass roof that provides a view of the sky to passengers in both the front and rear seats.
Connected Technology
Throughout the Crown’s cabin, technology helps you stay connected to what’s important. Five USB-C charge ports and a Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charger make it easy to keep your devices charged from any seat in the vehicle. There’s also a large 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen that displays audio information, vehicle settings, and navigation. This screen can even mirror your compatible smartphone’s apps using wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
Every Crown comes with a 1-year trial subscription to Drive Connect, which gives you access to Cloud Navigation and live traffic information. It also includes an Intelligent Assistant, which understands and responds to naturally spoken voice commands. If you’re looking for a luxury sedan that doesn’t make compromises, the Crown might just be the perfect vehicle for you.
